Teammate Vilate Carwin and Olivia Olson of Broomfield High in Colorado took the top two spots in the Division 1 girls race at the Liberty Bell Invitational at Heritage High in Littleton, Colo. Carwin prevailed by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 18:55.4 and Olson placed second in 18:57.8 to contribute to Broomfield finishing fifth as a team with 175 points.
